Set House Arts

Set House Arts is a refurbished Radar Station, a Happidrome,  from WWII. Just one mile from Pembrokeshire’s Coastal Path, you can come and join in with our photography and art-based residential workshops, bring your family or friends if you wish or leave them behind & come for a few days by yourself; CLICK on the date above to read more:

Love Life! Love Pembrokeshire!

That was our first motto when we moved here to the tip of St Brides Bay in Pembrokeshire, fifteen years ago. It still is!

Within our garden, we inherited a World War II Radar Station, a HAPPIDROME.

Now, after four and a half years of repairs we hope to open it to the public as a centre for photography and fine art – a special place where you can simply enjoy the sheer pleasure of creating what you wish; film or digital images, drawings, paintings or sculptures.  Where you can practice, play & learn in our residential workshops; enjoy our stunning coastline and wildlife, use our darkroom & various studios to create from scratch or to  complete your work. You can even frame it for display or make it into a handmade artist’s book.

Then, if you wish, you can exhibit your results in The Set House, our on-site gallery.

And if you want to bring your family or friends for support, then that’s fine too. Whilst you are in your workshop group, they will be free to explore this wonderful area and enjoy its many attractions.   All are welcome.
