Ruth Jayne Lewis

Ruth Jayne Lewis Ba (Hons). Dip., AGAvA

Ruth specialises in watercolours in various subjects and joined the Guild of Aviation Artists in 2015, using her favourite medium to paint aircraft in seascapes and landscapes.

Ruth graduated with her diploma in art and design in 1986 from Carmarthen Art Collage, she then went to gain a BA (Hons) in interior and architectural design from Cardiff University in 1989.

Ruth is a tutor teaching aspects of art mediums and subject matters and teaches eight classes a week. Her clientele includes working and retired adults as well as adults with learning disabilities.

Ruth gives demonstrations and workshops and accepts commissions.

Ruth’s work has been exhibited in Llanelli House, White Lion Street Gallery in Tenby, Swansea, Athenaeum Hall, Llanelli and the Mall Galleries, London.
