Billie-Jo is a first year student at the Carmarthen School of Art, studying BA (Hons) Fine Art: Painting, Drawing & Printmaking
Inspired by the intensity of Pete’s expression and the fine detail of his features, I was keen to capture them on paper. Experimentation through varying mediums was interesting. It was exciting to discover that, by working through pen and ink, I was not only able to best capture the fine detail of his features, the resulting image also retained the warmth and underlying quality of his expression.
