56 GROUP WALES

SET HOUSE ARTS would like to thank the 56 GROUP WALES for their belief and trust in supporting us with their work for this, our first exhibition.

The ‘Recent Works’ exhibition at St Brides has been a whirlwind of Art & History.

Over the past four weeks we have had over 250 visitors and although a large number of them had initially come for the history of the buildings, they also politely tolerated our artistic enthusiasm whilst we walked them around and talked about the art work and the artists. Added to this, once I had ‘introduced’ them to the artist and the artist’s work, many of them spent time to view the works again and to thoughtfully appreciate the art.

We also had many art loving visitors who, after total absorption in the art, made all the right noises whilst partaking in John’s wonderful history tours of the main GCI Radar Station buildings. We thank them for their interest.

One of the most rewarding outcomes has been the amount of visitors who have passed on to others their good experiences here. We have had many referrals and thank all the visitors who shared their visit with others.

We would like to extend a huge thank you to all of the exhibiting members of 56 Group Wales for trusting us with your wonderful works. It has been a highly rewarding experience all round; many visitors and residents of Pembrokeshire are now followers of 56 Group Wales  and we look forward to a long future association with the members.
